After missing the entire '17-'18 season with the Mavericks, Curry settled for a low 1-year, $2.8 million contract with Portland last summer. Curry can play at either guard position, and is near the top of the league in eFG% due primarily to his exceptional 45% three point shooting. He also is not limited to just spotting up, as he has playmaking skill in the pick-and-roll.

The Trailblazers will have an interesting decision to make with Curry. Since he only signed a one-year contract, the Blazers will only have his Non-Bird rights, which means they can only sign him to a maximum of $3.35 million, which would likely not be enough to retain him. They will also have the Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception, which will be about $5.7 million next season, and they can use this to re-sign Curry, but Curry has likely played himself to a better contract than this.

Potential Teams: Kings, Lakers, Trailblazers, Hawks

Predicted Contract: 3-year, $33 million with the Kings.

*Actual Contract: 4-year, $32 million with the Mavericks.

I thought Curry could get $10+ million per year, but got signed for slightly less than that to return to Dallas.
