Daniels has one NBA skill, and that's shooting. Over the past four seasons, Daniels has shot 38% or better from three each season. He also had a career year from midrange, hitting 51%, which put him in the 96th percentile for his position, per Cleaning the Glass.

While Daniels's size limits his ability to finish at the rim or adequately defend wings, his ability to hit shots can be useful. I don't expect his performance on this terrible Suns team to weigh too heavily on other teams' minds, but don't be surprised if Daniels gets more than the minimum for a team that needs shooting.

Potential Teams: Timberwolves, Hornets, Magic, Heat, Thunder

Predicted Contract: 1-year, $3 million with the Timberwolves

*Actual Contract: 1-year, $2 million with the Lakers.

A minimum contract makes sense for Daniels, who has not yet proven he can contribute to a winning NBA team. He does have shooting ability, which could make him valuable to this Lakers team.
