Summary

The Warriors could only have cap space if they essentially lose all of their key free agents, which is unlikely. Therefore, they will most likely operate over the cap.

If Jackson-Davis is retained, the Warriors will have about $38 million below the luxury tax, $46 million below the first apron, and $56 million below the second apron, with 8 players under contract (not including their first round pick). Depending on how much they spend on re-signing their own free agents, they could possibly have the $14.1 million Non-Taxpayer MLE and the $5.1 million Bi-Annual Exception to add talent and remain below the first apron.

It's possible though that they spend enough on their own free agents and are over the first apron and only have the $5.7 million Taxpayer MLE to add talent, or maybe even that they're over the second apron and only have minimums to add talent in free agency.
