Summary

Barring major trades, the Grizzlies will be well over the cap even if they lose all of their own potential free agents, and might even be too close to the apron to use the full $12.9 million Non-Taxpayer MLE and BAE to add talent.

 

If they let Kennard walk, they will likely have just enough room below the first apron to use the full MLE. If Kennard is retained, they will have probably have just enough room below the 2nd apron to use the $5.2 million Taxpayer MLE to add talent.
